I have managed to make some nice odds and ends for my website with publisher, but the dilemma I run into is when it gets loaded onto the site, the quality sucks.

I have saved it in the highest res. and edited with gimp. Now what???

It looks good on everything but the site itself.

I figured it out. For some od reason higher res does not mean better pic quality. If the one in the middle is selected as far as dpi then it comes out pretty good. Not perfect but close.

Resolution is size. DPI is quality. If you up the resolution without changing the DPI you get a blown up image like on a copy machine.
