Is there documenation on how to integrate RecallChek into a template?  I am new and building my template.  I see that I can insert RecallChek fields but I can't find any documentation on how to use them.  Thanks for your help.

Hi Eric,

I'll be creating a video on it next week after I return from these 2 conferences. This week we're just slammed between Atlantic City and San Diego conferences.

I know your slammed Dom so when you have a chance. The issue I have is creating the initial Recall Chek data collection template. I can't scroll down to enter more than 4 appliances.

Hi Ralph,

Where are you trying to upload the template to (message boards, cloud, your computer, etc)?

Alright, I found how to enter the template for RecallChek data entry and have run into the bug of only being able to enter 4 items.  Is there a fix coming soon?  Thanks.

Yup, it's already fixed. Just finishing up another feature before the update.

Can you explain what needs to go where in the report so that it displays in the template correctly? I'm not sure what I am doing wrong, but I know I'm doing it wrong  Smiley

Sure!

So every 2 rows corresponds to 1 appliance.

Col 1:
First column is the appliance name you're going to send. This is a list of everything RecallChek accepts. For example, Microwave.

Col 2:
The section of the report the appliance is in. For example, Kitchen.

Col 3:
The item within the section above the appliance is in. For example, Microwave.

Basically the 2nd & 3rd drop down are identical to how you insert photos.

Now, the 2nd row is automatically populated.

Following the example above go to the Kitchen->Microwave section of your report. Click Edit Comments. Click the RecallChek button and select Brand. Click Add Another, add the Model. Then if you really want (not needed), add a 3rd comment for the Serial.

Now you have 2 (or 3) new narratives in your section. Select them, move to black. Double click on black and add the model and serial after the [[RecallChek Model]] and [[RecallChek Brand]] comments. You could insert a list for Brand to make this even faster.

Save template and all this will be saved so in the future you just select those 2 narratives, move to black and add the details.

Now go to the RecallChek Data Collection section and click Update. All the info will auto populate. Then send!

Thanks for the explanation as to how to make it work.  I will incorporate that.

Have you fixed the bug so that I can scroll down on the RecallChek page?  If so, what version do I need?  Thanks.

Right now I have Brand, Model, and Serial # all on one line in my report. Will this still be possible? or does each need to be on a separate line to populate the template?

Eric, yes, 3.2.3 is out and in the beta section that has the fix.

They need to be separate narratives. If that was the only thing in that section of the report you could use the bullet feature for example that puts all the comments on one line in the report.
