I'm pretty far from a computer guru, maybe one of you guys would know...I am trying to print a report to fill out in the field,which is a PDF, about 20 pages. About 6 pages, the words become "computer jargon", symbols, characters, letter, numbers all mixed together. Anybody have an idea what is causing this? Happened the other day without my knowledge until I printed 20 pages of unrecognizable mumbo jumbo!

Bad printer drivers. Go to the manufacturers website and download new drivers (it's a program that tells the computer how to talk to the printer).

that makes sense, Dom..I have two computers, just hooked up the newest one wirelessly to the printer, and was having trouble. My computer kept saying it couldn't find the driver. I have the disc, reloaded it, and the new one prints okay. It's my old computer that's having the trouble. I'll go to HP's website
and see if I can download a new driver. Thank you....

Thanks, Dominic. I have another issue you may have heard of before. It only happens with the new computer for some reason. Some links that I click on to send a message, especially an email, my computer begins opening multiple tabs automatically, to the same address. Sometimes 20 or more in a matter of seconds. I have to keep clicking them off, and while I'm getting a message "You are about to close 15 tabs", 15 more will be opening. I usually have to shut the computer off if I cannot exit out of them fast enough. Have you heard of this or know what would be causing it?

Is it opening up a program like outlook or is it your email website within Firefox?

It's the email website I believe. It keeps opening up new tabs that say "mail to..."

Adjust the sensitivity on your touch pad or mouse.  Asus computer by chance?

The computer that does it is a new Dell, one of those all in one computers. Maybe it is a sensitivity issue on the mouse, but it seems the computer or server is what is opening these multiple tabs simultaneously.

Hard to say without seeing it. Does the same happen if you touch the screen directly (I'm assuming it's a touchscreen).

It is a touch screen, but I hardly ever use that feature. Maybe I will try that next time. It is strange, and it's usually on a contact link that is not Outlook Express. Our State Fire Marshall's site did it the other day, I clicked on the "contact us" link and my computer began opening multiple tabs simultaneously. By the time I can move my mouse arrow to exit on the top right, before it will close, I get the prompt "you are about to close 19 tabs, proceed?" Sometimes I click the okay button, it closes them, then six or eight more tabs are trying to open, so I get the prompt asking if I"m sure I want to close all the tabs? It is strange, and I haven't tried it with IE. I have Webroot installed on that computer, and have ran some virus scans, nothing comes up.
