Remember with HIP you can just send that hzf to any computer and finish the report. Doesn't even matter if it's Windows in the field and Mac at home. So while you can get a docking station, you don't need to bother with the smaller screen at home.

True. I use Dropbox also, so it makes it easy to share files between PC's. By the way Dom, that is sweet that you can share files between MAC and PC.

Ok guys, so what has everyone chosen. Has anyone jumped on the HPSlate2 and who ended up with the NL3 and what do you think of it. I've got to make a decision in the next few days so any other advice. I want to complete as much of my report as possible in the field.

I don't know much about tablets, but sure seems well priced compared to iPad. Would it at least be a good one to try out and practice on before going with something else.

Dom, I purchased the 10" android.
You said "Just remember, you'll need to use the new HIP mobile with it". The HIP mobile, is that something purchased seperate from the regular HIP inspection software, or does it come with it?
On the HIP inspection software demo it says try it for 30 days. Does that mean I can activate to try on an actual report or does that mean just playing w/ the demo?

Hey Joe, We can send you a trial license you can use for a month, just email the name/company to help@homeinspectorpro.com requesting a trial license. The Android version will be free for a month and then $199 to purchase and you must have the upload service for all the file storage (which most guys already have and is $15/mo for you since you have a website with us). |
