Yes, if you forward the link you'll know it was looked at but it could be any of the people you forwarded it to. If you use the agent & client slot then you'll know the difference of who it was.

I like your idea last night of making I possible to upload to more than 1 client and 1 agent and track them all. Do others see a use in this? Is anyone else sending reports to more than the agent & client?

Also, the server was updated last night to send out the new agent emails. Dave, let me know how it goes with your next agent. They get a DIRECT link to the registration area now.

Dominic

I like the idea.  I think we should be able to send it to at least both sides of the purchase at the minimum.  Buyer/Seller and reps. And be able to see who viewed the report.

Just make sure you get permission for that. Their could be legal ramifications in your state for sharing the report without permission.

Oh there is!  You must have permission to show it to anyone other than who paid for it.  But if the option is there...  Main thing for me is to be able to verify that the report was looked at or downloaded.  That way we can know for sure if they get the report or not.  Don't need someone coming back later and saying oh I didn't get your report so I'm not paying.  Yeah, I did my first pay at closing deal.  I can see why people don't like to do it!  Wink

That features added, so you're set. I am planning on adding a log on thesite as well that keeps track in case you delete those emails!

For the last couple of inspections performed, I was given a email for both the husband and wife and they asked me to send to both.  I just forwarded the confirmation link in an email to the other person, but it would be good to be able to send to multiple clients or realtors from within HIP.

Anyone notice the page they end up on when they log into the site now (the agents are being directed to the same page).

Do you mean the main page?  Should I logout and then visit?  Not quite sure what I am looking for.

Yes. Logout then log back in from the main page (like an agent would).

I think the problem is simply too much information on the upload page. The customer should only see --customer name -- customer password  and below that --agent name --agent password. A small add for hip is ok, but any more info. would confuse the regular customer. After they log in all they should see is their pdf

Are you talking about for the client or agent? The client never has to log in, they get a direct link. The agent logs in and the sees a table of all th jobs you've done for the with a link to the pdf. Since we changed it so the agent is auto diected to the reports page I haven't heard of any issues (except the occasional agent who forgets their password).

Can you explain a little more of wht you mean?
