And the stocking was hung by the chimney with care.
You bet. There is care all over the place here. That is my stocking, obviously.
My name is on it and it is a Redskin stocking.
Yeah, right, like you don't have a Redskin stocking?
Notice the holder. We have various.
Mine is the Santa holder.
Why? Because I am Santa, around here anyway.
The squat Santas are all on the mantel over my stocking.
Where else would they be?
And the Santa on the left is not wearing the traditional Santa red and white.
He is wearing the non-traditional burgundy and gold Santa suit.
Of course! That is a Redskin Santa suit.
So, you're saying that I am too old to be deluded with Santa?
He and I go way back. AND I BELIEVE IN SANTA!
It was midday. I had a moment between appointments to pick up something at the Redskin store for my brother for Christmas. Going back to my car I went down the escalator beside the Santa village.
There were no children around, and Santa was standing beside his big chair stretching. Looking up he noticed me! Of course, knowing who I am from so many visits to my house in past years, he waved to me!
Excitedly I waved back and said, "I've been real good! See you Christmas Eve!"
AND HE GAVE ME THE THUMBS UP SIGN! Like I said, we go way back.
So I can tell you with no uncertainty that I will have a great Christmas this year!
And just remember, it doesn't matter whether or not YOU believe in Santa.
The question is this: does Santa believe in you?

Jay, good to hear from you again! Sadly, as my Purple and Gold football team heads to D.C. to take on your Redskins...I have to hope your team wins and we get one step closer to drafting Andrew Luck!  |

Deadskins for sure Joe. But still, I am a fan. I went to my first game at Griffith Stadium!! I am around, just don't have the kind of time to spend on the various site like I used to.
And thanks Jim. I am a true fan, none of this fair weather stuff! Here are a couple of pictures of my basement! There are more, but these give you the idea. Cuchihuasi is Quichua for "Pig house," or, in the Skins' case, "Hog House."
