Theme 11 has been updated to allow the 3 images it has to be replaced with your own image (just make sure they are the same size). You can replace the logo in the top left, the night skyline image across the top and the home page image of the 3 homes.

Ok, need some help replacing the images. I have a jpeg that I stitched together of my local skyline to replace the default skyline. How do I make this happen...I have navigated to Themes>Configure>Upload New Theme Header Image>Choose File and it shows the file, I then "save configuration" but nothing changes with the Header Image and I do not receive any error message. Also would like to replace the INACHI logo on the top left of the page with my own logo, but my logo is not square...it is rectangular in shape. Any advice?

Try making blocks and then place them in these locations. I haven't looked at your site but here's an exmaple. Place your logo into a block. Then place that block in the position of the NACHI logo. If you don't want the NACHI logo to show, disable it, and only your logo will be there.

Also, how do you add a logo/icon that shows on the browsers address bar (the icon next to "http://", I don't know its technical name) instead of the default "green guy" from HIP?

OK, can I delete the "home page center image" on this theme? I have been able to replace the default image with an image of my own, but I wanted to experiment with no image in this location. Thanks.

Hi Derek,
Not at this time. It was made so that the home page had a replaceable image automatically. If you don't want that image then there's a few other themes that are practically the same but without this option (like theme 5).

Dom,
I went to place a new block on my left Sidebar but it seems not to be formating to the correct width. Then it messes with the page format. Is there a way to format the block width so it is the same as the navigation/admin block?

Hi Donald,
The blocks expand based on the content you put within them. So you'll want to make sure you resize any image that you stick in the block. If you're putting something else in, give us a link so we can check it out.

As I begin my Website thought process, this thread caught my attn as theme 11 might give the flexibility I'm looking for. Noticed the top nightsky image was a collage, I wanted to replace tht w/ a collage of local images, possible? Easy to do? The lower images I wanted to manipulate too; the left 2 remain the same, the right 2 switched out w/ one of your inspector guy/clipboard + a new image. Possible? Easy to do? Lastly, is it legal to use a photo of homes in my area w/o homeowners permission?

Hi Bruce,
Just got back from InspectionWorld in Atlanta and saw your post. You can create a collage using a program like photoscape.org pretty easily. You can legally use any image that you can take from the street (that's how Google can take all the images they do).

Thanks! I'm working fairly diligently in the background, and also studying many of these threads to get up to speed as quickly as possible. I don't intend to become high-maintenance, but sometimes I can't easily locate the answer I'm lookin for even. Anyhow, somewhere I'm sure there are "recipes" or pointers for how to best condition the photo's to use within themes, and within website bodies. I think I read somewhere that the website sw does alot of the "conditioning", but I do have a few more questions_>
- how to best size my photos, resolution/size & crop?
- Where are some direct sources for useful pics apropos to our industry? I have the concern that my photos may not turn out "professional-lookin enuf", and thinkin instead of forcing in my pics, it may be simpler to draw on some that already exist in the WWW.
- The lower image of theme 11 just under the night skyline banner, is also a collage of 4 pics cropped by a puzzle piece design. It only shows up on the home page, which I like. To simplify my efforts I thought I could run with this, using 2 of the HIP pics already there, importing a 3rd HIP pic (the inspector from theme 9) to replace a 3rd pic in the collage, and input my own pic for the 4th "puzzle piece"...It would seem simple enough, but I'd need help on HIP's side to complete it, perhaps. Is this possible? Perhaps all that manipulation is already available w/in the theme(s), and its just a matter of me working on it at that level?
