Okay, I'll check it out when I get home later as we've got tons of calls & emails coming in right now so I'm swamped.

Small bug in the new version - if you edit text in the report's comments, which was also included as pic caption, the captions are not automatically updated in newly generated report

Are you talking about after you've selected the caption you're going back and editing the original comment within the section? If so, that's not supposed to update the photo caption automatically, but it will update the possible comments in the drop down options.

Yes, but it used to update the caption automativally in 2.6.6.8, if the caption was chosen from the drop down box when adding/editting photos. Otherwise if you edit any comment, then you have to go back to pics to edit those also.

Hi Frank,

It's never updated the caption automatically as people usually edit the comment a bit after selecting it from the drop down box so we make sure not to touch it. The items in the drop down itself will update, and you can go back and reselect the item from the drop down.

2.8.2 is out and is an important update as it fixes a date bug for December: http://www.homeinspectorpro.com/dmdocuments/HomeInspectorPro-2_8_2-Update.exe . I'm working on the Mac version now.

2.8.1

Fix for a few tablet brands (including CTL2Go) that create double clicks too quickly.

Bug Fix causing Edit Comments to stop toggling on and off in rare occasions.

2.8.2

Bug Fix: Reopened inspections with a December date show 12 as the month rather than 0.

Bug Fix: Prevent blank named Inserts from occuring.

Bug Fix: Correct incorrect number of total pages with Header/Footer format 2.

Design Change: Adjusted company name on bottom of Header/Footer format 2 so that a longer name will fit.

Design Change: Updated the About->Contact Support menu to link to our new Help Desk/Ticket System.

Design Change: Adjusted size & photos at back of report to match layout in the rest of the report.

Works great.
No more extra page number at end of reports that was causing confusion for clients thinking the last page was missing is corrected.
Was getting (example) last page as 53 0f 54 causing them to think 54 was missing.

How do I download the 2.8.2 version?  When I click on the link posted, my MAC only downloads HTML.  Thanks for the help.

Hi, has there been any update on the drop down selection list option in the "Selection/Material Panel" of the program? I am back to PC after the hard drive replacement, using Windows version of the program again, and I don't know if I have missed any updates.
Thanks
