I was just wrapping things up as far as initial setup and I had a question about the bathroom section.  There seems to be so many individual sections that I am thinking it would take longer than normal to perform the inspection.

Has anyone eliminated some tabs in regards to bathroom deficiencies and just consolidated some of the tabs together?  I thought about leaving everything intact for lets say, the master bath and reducing the checklist on the rest of the bathrooms to make it a little easier and quicker.

Does this sound reasonable or am I off base?

Thanks,

Gary

That's why some guys just use one bathroom page and set the locations, i.e. Master Bathroom #1, Downstairs 1/2 Bath #2. Then in the comments they will just put "Leaking Faucet in #1". It's really up to personal preference, some guys like individual pages, some don't. If you check our Residential Template 2 you'll see the entire bathroom is in a single tab (Russ Spriggs original template). It's all about you!

The software does allow a lot of flexibility, more than I could have imagined.  Sometimes I do go off in another world it seems so I wanted to see what others have did.

I'll check it out.

The template & samples section of the message board is the best place to go. That way you can look through PDF's that others have posted.

It is hard sometimes when you have the flexibility because then you have to plan it out yourself. The method I see working best for most guys is to just start and adapt your template as you start doing inspections. That way you're getting the hand of the capabilities before trying to change everything.
