I have looked around here and could not find it. How can I link to a power point presentation? Where do I go to upload the PPT file? I want text in a block to link to the PPT.

It would work exactly like uploading a report so you can follow that tutorial. Not everyone has powerpoint though so it's strongly advised you convert it to a PDF then print it.

I would like to put a power point presentation on the site similar to how a slide show is done. Clients could go to a page and watch the power point. Can that be done? I tried to upload it like a report, but I get a message stating only certain extensions can be loaded and ppt is not listed.

You don't want to use powerpoint on the web as many people don't have a powerpoint viewer. Convert it to a PDF or Slideshow.

Ok, that would do it. Make sure you're using a good program to convert those as you want it around 2mb max to prevet people from leaving the page.

Way too big. Sounds like some of the images within it were still at a much larger resolution than needed within the slide. Try bullzip and see if it prints to a smaller file size. If not, send it to me.

I set the Primo to convert it for screen, which makes it a smaller file. I will check out bullzip though. He takes very high resolution images, some he sent me where 4 MB.

The Primo fixed it. I didn't know you could convert a PDF to a PDF again. I took the PDF and just reconverted it.

If you open the PowerPoint in OpenOffice you can convert it to a flash file which you could then upload to youtube.

I opened the power point and converted it to a jpeg. It converted each image to a jpeg and I loaded that to a slide show.
