I think checking for the comments left behind in the Damage Panel is probably more important than the checking the ratings. It is easy to verify the ratings at the end. But in the process of writing new comments and selecting from existing ones, it is really difficult to verify if everything was  included at the end. There is just a lot of information that is writen and even more information that is just retained in one's head. At the end of the report it is hard to distinguish between the two.

If you are using ratings in your report, nothing looks worse than having empty ratings boxes on a finished report. To the client, it looks like you missed something. If you have the ratings complete and missed a narrative, you could get away with that. You really don't want to miss either.  Cool

I can create options in the Report Settings area to let you guys choose what you want to be checked, then just loop through all the Damage Panels and Ratings to see what's left over.

If I am following this correctly having material comments in a renamed damage panel will cause the material comments to be the same color as Damage in the font.
So if you use red on damage comments all your material comments will look like defects.

I am not sure what you mean. I am really not worried about the rating boxes so much, as those are easy to verify before or after I generate the report. I am more concerned about leaving out a comment that I have selected, but did not move, as those are hard to find. I would have to cycle through 120-180 panels to find it. That is why I would like the program to alert me, when I go to generate the report, that there are items that were highlighted, but were not moved over, and take me there, so I that can make the corrections. But if the program is doing the checking, then it might as well check the ratings and notify me if they were left unchecked.

Oh OK, I get it. Yes that would be good, if the you can just loop with a click from panel to panel. Seems like a good option
