Will, I have a Dell w/ Vista as well. We've tried IE7, 8, and Firefox with the same result. Now this afternoon, I was downstairs on our old POS IBM and I got in...Michael Merino was in the room for a second, but I was in the chat room.

It's definitely on their end and hopefully will be resolved soon. I've been using this system for almost 10 years and rarely ever had problems. Casey, you'll see the names of who is in there on the right when someone is in the room.
Let me know if the forum seems faster now, found out that half the ram in the server was bad today and therefore not being used, argh!

Kind of, read the other post on that. We had someone who is using computers in Russia to overload the server with page requests. Without that extra ram it made the server more vulnerable. Not much can be done when a DDOS attack is being done on a server. It's taken down ebay, paypal, and everyone else at times. Just curious as to why we were chosen as a target...

Whoo-Hoo, I'm in the chat room today on my laptop from Starbucks in San Juan Capistrano, CA.... Not sure how or why, but I like it. The CMI website use to have online continuing education sessions in their websites chat room. I believe "Hank" ran the site out of Colorado. Maybe we could ocassionally get a guest expert speaker to join us in the chat room for informal discussion. It would help traffic to this MB, helping Dom of course and us member inspectors as well...
