Yep, mild winter and my oil tank fill 2 days before Christmas just ran out.
Another $736 to fill it up. Last time was in the $600.
Just keeps going up.

Hey Marcel, no I definetley have not been busy. But hopefully this is a good sign. 5 Inspects from an investor here and says he's adding another. Did first one today. Good afternoon all, and hope you had a good weekend. I worked all 3 days 6 hours each. Take it whle it goes by I felt.
Hopefully I will know this week if I have a job in a different Dept. next week.
If I survive this layoff, hopefully the second wave of layoffs will spare me in a new department.

Any overtime work is a 6 hour shift. Regular hours during the week is 8 hours.
Weekend work is first shift 6-12 and second shift 12-6 with a 20 min. break. Easy money.
Home early today for a Doctors appointment.
Monday was a holiday, so you get paid 8 hours regular time and paid time & 1/2 more for 6 hours. That relates to 17 hours of regular pay for working the 6 hours.
No wonder it cost some much today.

Well, got word yesterday, Monday I will be in the Tin Shop Dept. instead of the Carpenter shop.
Anxious to see how that will work out for me.
I feel like a tin man when I wake up in the morning anyways. Could use an oil can to get the joints to move.

Yep, that is for sure.
Heath Insurance right now is the biggest driver. Money is nice too, although nothing out of this world. But that is the only work I have right now. Haven't done inspections in months. Had 3-4 calls, asking questions and shopping or just need to know what I am doing from another inspector local.
Should start to pick up in a couple of months.

Well that's my design for southern and west areas Marcel. That's why Jeff's on the team to help with design changes for the snowbird inspector version. I can only do so much. . Jeff has to keep up his end . I'm sure he's still working on it, but he's past the deadline Dom gave us as a release date. I'm sure he'll come thru as always I think the snow bird version even has a seat warmer and snow plow. |
