Fuel oil isn't cheap boys...right now, neither is LP. I would guess that's a pretty normal number for Marcel's area, because I know it's right in line for around here in the dead of winter.

Annual cost for this year, est. at $2700 and if I would not pay in advance to get the cash credit, would be $3200.
Nothing cheap when it comes to oil.
Last tankful was about $636 and will be surprised to last two months into February.

Glad to hear you are busy Dom.
I've been working at the shipyard steady. No home inspections so taking all the overtime that goes by.
Taken 2 Satudays off since Christmass Day.
When the ship goes down the river in March, there might be a layoff again, and being at the bottom of the Union year time worked there, the job is not very secure.
Wish I could go back to building, but that is not too bright for the future either.
36 and sunny again today. Not much snow on the ground.
Hope all is good with you and yours.
Don't work to hard.

Hi Dom, oh doing the same they found I have diabetic neuropathy the leg pain is bad at times my back is the same other than that life is good. How you doing Dom?

Well, here I was thinking I missed a whole bunch of stuff.
Wrong.
Where did everyone go?
I have been busy with the Awards lately and work.
Just as I had figured, got laid off at the ship yard, but interviewing tomorrow for work in a different Dept.
Supposedly they have enough openings in different Depts. for all the 51 that got laid off.
Looks like I might be an Outside Machinist or Tin Knocker for awhile.

Interview went alright. Hoping to get in the Tin shop or Outside machinist.
Wont find out till late next week.
They like to keep you in suspense. In the mean time, I signed up for overtime in the Carpenter's shop for Sat., Sun, and Monday which is a holiday.
Might as well take everything that goes by. Just in case.
Haven't had a home inspection here in so long, don't know if I know how to do one anymore.
Hopefully this market will turn around soon for everyone.
Joe, nice to hear you are keeping busy. Hope I get time soon to work on my website. Had a few calls, but they are price shopping or another inspector questioning to see what I do or know. Never called back.

Hi Dom.
Waterville is the only city of about 15,000 and Augusta 20 miles away at 18,444.
But all of the little towns inbetween sparsly populated.
I come up number one when I use yahoo for ;
Central Maine Home Inspector
Waterville Home Inspectors
Kennebec County Home Inspectors
and Central Maine Commercial Inspectors
I don't know what else they would type in when looking for an inspector in this area. |
