Good memories Marcel. Even after we got our first gas powered mower in the 60's, I was still the weed eater/edger- On hands and knees trimming the grass edges w/ those little hand clippers. As the youngest in the family I was also my dads remote control for the TV. Those were the days.  |

I was just glancing thru the Nachi MB, seeing award nominations. I think we need to get some annual awards going here for the Dominator at the HIPster board. It was brought up last year and the year before. I think here at HIP, there should be a annual Member of the Year, and Website of the Year awards. Jeff and Marcel, I know ya'll are familiar with running those deals at the other MB, please volunteer. I've never done a poll post. Discussion here needed ! Dom ? |

It all starts at the top Joe. If the big man says it's a go, we could make it happen. There is an investment of the owner involved. Nothing is completely free, ie... Awards. It does take some work as Marcel will attest to but anything can happen if peoples are willing.
I kinda feel guilty even discussing this without Dom already giving a go ahead, as he is so generous already. I don't want him to think we "expect" this of him, and putting him in a position to have to say yes.

So like I ended my last post- Dom ? ? (meaning, what do you think?) Actually Jeff, I don't think Dom needs to go to any expense or not much at all, especially if it's an award in name only. Doing this would help activity and interest on the HIP message board. If Dom wants to throw in a little green guy trophy or a T-Shirt w/ the little green guy on it, that's fine, but not even necessary. |
