Jeff, sorry to hear about your camera, that sucks. I have to old ones for back ups, but sure wouldn't want to drop any of them. That eats away at the profit pretty quick.
I had an easy one yesterday, did not think I would be able to climb the roof, but I did. And amazing what I found too!

Yes it does. The one I broke is only a year old... almost to the day! My backup is my old one that has issues (every now and then). Thank G-d yesterday wasn't one of those days. I usually do not drop my camera. I take good care of my tools. It was just dumb luck. Went shopping for a new one today. Not happy with what I was seeing. Guess my backup will have to go a couple of days longer! Nice house... who's on the roof with you? Client?  |

Yep, I was walking the roof and turned around and he had climbed up. And this was a little tricky too!
My ladder was long enough for the garage, but out back was a porch, so I got my 4' step ladder on the roof, grabbed ahold of the stink pipe of the higher roof and climbed up. He followed.

Dom I think Jeff is from oz That's right... "the all and powerful Oz"!! LOL Yep... I survived. I was wondering for a while there. My desk sits next to a window, and the lightning started up, the winds kicked in, the rains they-a-cometh... straight in my window. Even with a screen, I got wet, and not a little. In about 30 seconds there was a puddle on the floor, and it wasn't from me. I went downstairs and out to the driveway to get a check of the skies, and it sounded like a freight train going down the alley! Shit... that's tornado sounds! Tree's were damn near bent in half from the winds. We're talkin 100 year old Oak trees! Noticed no sirens going off, so went inside, unplugged my 'puter and stuff, grabbed my ext. HD, and into the basement I went. Better safe than sorry. About an hour later, it was all but over except for some light rain. No word of a tornado on the radio, or in the news this am. Sure coulda fooled me! Called Casey this am... finally answered after what seemed like 10 rings. He's still alive and kickin! Well guys... you get's to deal with ol' grumpy arse for a while lomger!  |
