I'm sure...I bought the wife a new set of snowshoes...hoping we get some use out of them!
On the plus side; no snow makes for great ice for fishing! Have to wear spikes though, or you're slipping all over the place!

Surprisingly enough, no ice to speak of. Some in the morning due to rain in the day, but melts by afternoon.
Ground is not frozen that deep yet. Ice on the lakes and rivers come and goes.
No skating here.

Casey... didn't you get some white stuff last week? I got about an inch and a half, then the temps plummeted and it hasn't budged since. Now it's a thick layer of ice everywhere!

We got about 2 inches of snow up north, and must have gotten some here, but nothing when I got back to town. In fact, there was still open water on Mille Lacs (yes, guys were still out fishing it) and the snow was gone from there south.

Well, we did get about an 1" today and the ground is white, anyways. Sure a far cry from looking at last year at this same time.
