Yeah me to. Got my layoff this week for March 2 at the Naval Shipyard. 131 workers and 41 white hats tomorrow.
68 jobs available in other departments, but going with seniority and I am at the bottom of the list.
Ah well, more hunting in the forecast I guess.
When is this economy going to turn around?

Good afternoon all. Hope all is well.
Robert, I will find out on March 2nsd if I get a chance to get a job out of the 68 offered into a different department.
Slim chance due to Seniority, but not much to lose at this point except a job. Don't care what I do. It is a job.
One good thing, found out my probationary period is over and since the layoff is in March and three months of Health Benifets offered after layoff, I am covered till the end of June with Health Benifets for $18 a week.
That brings me to the anticipation that my former Company picks up work and can go back to Commercial Building which is all I know.
Still working 7 days aweek on partime work. 7 hours Sat. and 6 hours today. Helps pay the bills at this point, but is getting old just like me.
The Country is in a mess and don't see too much getting better soon.
Hope all you guys are holding on the best you can.

Dominic, In the listed templates and reports, there is NO example of a Florida style template. I realize all the templates can be modified, but if someone has one that has been and would share...man I would appreciate it. We generally see a 5-10 KW heat strips and the use of heatpumps rather than a furnace. We do have stem walls, but ofter the foundation is slab on grade. Also, I've seen verbage in some other inspection software that I think is right on for our area. Is there anyone that has a Florida base inspection that would consider offering the template and narriatives. I'm new with HIP and I'm trying desperatly to get up and air borne with my current inspections. Any help would be appreciated. I just received a message from Ian, he is OK, just trying to put his family in shambles back together. He said he has been staying off the computer while his wife is home and she was working tonight.
Once he gets his thing repaired, he plans on coming back.
