Oh it's on...  Make sure you got Terry Bradshaw in your 1st round draft pick before the Geek takes him.

PSYCHE !!!!    Grin  And that is why you will never beat the Old Man....

Well you gotta be good at something... God knows it ain't running your football team.

Hey Snots quit your laughing... Gullible is in the dictionary and it said something about Old men putting crickets in cookies and sending them to the geek disguised as chocolate chip...
66  General Discussion / General Discussion / Re: BEAT THE GEEK 2011 FANTASY FOOTBALL COMPETITIVE LEAGUE on: August 04, 2011, 08:39:42 AM
My apologies. It was in poor taste and didn't mean to offend.  I didn't know.
67  General Discussion / General Discussion / Re: BEAT THE GEEK 2011 FANTASY FOOTBALL COMPETITIVE LEAGUE on: August 03, 2011, 03:28:32 PM
I'll just have to go with Terry Bradshaw then...

BTW... I don't see any new takers on your offer to participate here. What's up with that?  Playing against the geek is a guaranteed win for the week!
68  General Discussion / General Discussion / Re: BEAT THE GEEK 2011 FANTASY FOOTBALL COMPETITIVE LEAGUE on: August 03, 2011, 02:30:29 PM
Nope.  The samples you sent me last year from your personal supply were all used and the manufacturer's preferred customer coupons all had your name on them so I couldn't use them.

No problem.
Interesting what seems a trivial item to us can become quite a substantial and pivotal negotiating factor for our clients as was the case for me.

Not bad...  I suppose we can let you play with the big boys again this year...  Just no more sobbing (or chirping) when your overall points suck again!
71  General Discussion / General Discussion / Re: BEAT THE GEEK 2011 FANTASY FOOTBALL COMPETITIVE LEAGUE on: August 02, 2011, 07:08:35 PM
Unfortunately your memory is failing with age, it was more like marginal loss, then brutal defeat of the cricket man, and still managed to finish higher in standings than the cricket eater....

And for the record, I use gold bond in this weather!  Grin

Agree what the others said.
Last time I called this out, the repair turned out to be an $800 quote for labor and materials to run the branch and bury the 10 foot run in the yard just off a patio.

If the first scenario is hard for you... try this one:

It's week 6 and you're playing against Steve "Old Man Cricket eater".  His computer is fried after crying so hard from the beating experienced last week.  Do you:
A) Go easy on the old man because his heart can't take it?
B) Send the old geezer a spare laptop and a box of chocolate covered crickets with a "get well soon" note?
C) Console him that his favorite QB Carson Palmer will gain him at least 4 points this week?
D) Inform the cricket man that a negative score from his Cincinnati defense might still keep him in the playoffs?
E) Worry that he's got control over the scoring system?

An excellent resource...

Plus my rule of thumb is "if you didn't identify moisture damage or active water intrusion... go back and look again because you missed it."

Sweet!

Thanks Dom!
76  Web Site Design & SEO / Website Themes / Re: Themes Board on: April 28, 2011, 02:12:22 PM
That would definitely work.
77  Web Site Design & SEO / Website Themes / Re: Themes Board on: April 28, 2011, 01:20:09 PM
Turn it off on all pages... That's a fantastic theme design and color options... but the image takes up half the site page.
78  Web Site Design & SEO / Website Themes / Re: Themes Board on: April 28, 2011, 08:13:23 AM
Hi Dom,

The new themes are really great looking!  Theme 38 is really fantastic, but is there currently any way to turn off that tremendously ENORMOUS header image?  It seems you have to scroll almost a whole page to get to any content.
79  Home Inspection Questions / Electrical / Re: Wording for double tapped neutrals on: April 27, 2011, 08:45:38 AM
Nice find Dave.  I'm not sure... but I think the result of a problematic neutral bundle would be exactly that!  Wink Grin

Oh... and I'm "borrowing" these photos for my classes.  Thanks!  Grin
80  Home Inspection Questions / Inspection Discussion / Re: Anyone ever seen this on a roof? on: April 21, 2011, 05:57:37 PM
I run into roofs that have been laddered or racked rather than staggered at 5-7 row intervals.  This results in similar concerns and is not recommended by the manufacturers.  Supposedly racking or laddering saves the contractor time when they are paid by the roof and not by the hour.
