Hi Guys,
2.5.8 has been released.
Design Change: Added more color options to Report Settings->Formatting
New Feature: When in the template editor, double click on any inspection items to change the tab name or the panel names.
New Feature: Added a Other Info to client info that will appear on the cover page of the report.
Design Change: When you click on Edit Comments, the text box above Add has been removed. Now you click on Add Comment and get a popup box that will allow you to enter in multiple comments.
Design Change: The Template Editor now only has a Save button. The cancel button was removed as it was not practical to try and maintain all the changes and then reverse them. Since it's so easy now to make changes to panels, it isn't necessary anymore.
Design Change: When you double click on a comment to edit it you now get a MUCH larger edit box with the ability to hit enter to create multiple paragraph entries.
Design Change: Renamed the "Add Photos" menu to "Add/Review Photos"
Design Change: Should not need to slide the gray horizontal bar down now to get access to the edit description box.
Design Change: All the client info now shows in the Additional Comments area for the Texas Template layout
Design Change: Preview Report button has been renamed to Generate Report. This is to eliminate confusion with inspectors who were trying to preview older reports.
Design Change: Removed the Print Report button. It wasn't being used, every inspector we talked to previewed first, then printed. This keeps things simplified on the button bar. The Print Report still exists under the File menu if you need it.
Design Change: Added a little more space inbetween Page 1 of xx when xx is greater than 10
Design Change: The help button on the toolbar now takes you to the animated tutorials on the website instead of in program documentation.
Bug Fix: The previous update allowed documents to be added before the summary page. In some cases the summary table of contents had it's pages numbered wrong because of this. This has been corrected.
Bug Fix: There was a problem if you clicked cancel when editing the name of a menu in the template editor, this has been resolved.

Hi Ben,
Hopefully tonight if everything goes smoothly. Yes, I think the data entry will be a LOT easier in this update.

Got to about 90% done with renaming panels but it's 2am so I'm going to finish it up tomorrow. I had to rewrite quite a bit of the edit template to make sure it stays backwards compatible while making it extremely easy now to update the tab name, damage panel name or the selection panel name.

Ok, just finished with 2.5.8 for Windows and I'm emailing it out to a few of the top beta testers to play with for a day or two before everyone else gets it. If you really want to check it out now, let me know here or via email.
I have updated the top message with the latest updates.
One thing to be careful of. I have not added a restriction to the site of the new Other field on the client info page. If you type too much in the box your data will get kicked to the next page. I'll need to play with this some more to add the restriction and figure out a way to get the most text possible (like moving the cover photo up a bit depending on the amount of 'other' text).
Let me know what you think of the new features particularly: the edit comment and add comment window, and the ability to edit existing panels in the template editor.

Quick note on the ability to edit existing panels in the template editor (double click inspection items on right). I have not added a check into the system to make sure you aren't using the name of a panel already in that section. For example, you don't want to have two panels called Sink in the Kitchen (it's fine if they are in different rooms), as they would automatically become linked and share all comments and clicks. I'll be adding the check in tonight. It's not that big of a deal though as you can easily change them now!
