I have seen and read the tittle 'Master Inspector' on INACHI a few time and would like to know how you go about getting this tittle! I thought this might be something more of us inspectors might be interested in as it would make for great marketing.

There's quite a few HIP users who're CMI or working on it. I think David Macy is going through the application process right now. It's definitely something nice to put on your resume. Once you start doing an average of 2-3 inspections a day you figure you're looking at 3-4 years of inspecting. But that's a good thing, it makes it more valuable to have than something given to everyone.

It really comes down to how long you've been around (lots of referrals), where you live, marketing, etc. There's plenty of guys right now doing 2-3 a day right now, and plenty of guys not. Of course getting your website up to the top of the rankings really helps.

Ya, the website ranking is one of my main objectives right now. I've also been using my spare time to get all my NACHI stuff done. And I've been trying to hit different real estate offices at least once a week. I should probably hit more places more often though. Just tryin to keep expenses down (I drive a diesel truck).

I just obtained my Master Inspector designation.
It is a nice achievement and I am able to add logo to my website and business forms/Advertising.
1000 inspections seems like a lot when you are just starting out. Goes fast.
Get your website up and You can add my link to your's. (I need to start adding links)
I am one of the first inspectors to come up when googling inspectors in my area.
I just changed to HIP and the internet calls have picked up big time thanks to HIP.

2 to 3 compared to the 2 to 3 hundred questions on the report software.
I like the site about a 100% more then my previous one.
The template is great.
There are some many things I would like to add to the site.
Like slide shows, maintenance area for home owners, move in certified.
Most important a great looking site dont mean squat unless people see it.
I wish there was an easy step by step instruction for doing. If I have the reference clearly described I usually can figure it out.
