OK, here is the deal.  I completed a report using one of my first template ideas a couple of months ago.  I have since made major changes to my templates and was wondering if I could apply the new template to the completed report.  If not, is there a way to get the photos back out of the report?  I deleted the originals.

Thanks!

Hi Julian,

No, you can't apply a new template to an old report as there would be no way to connect new sections to old. That's why every inspection report saves a copy of the current template at the time within it.

Yes, you can get the photos though. Open up the old inspection. Go to C:\Program Files\Home Inspector Pro\Data\Temp and you will see all the photos there. Copy them and paste them into another folder as they will disappear from that folder as soon as you close the report out.

Let me know if that works ok for you.

That's what I thought about the templates, but I figured I would ask.

I managed to pull the photos out of the old report; thanks for the tip.

Glad that worked for you. I thought about adding an export photo feature in the future to make something like that easier but I have quite a few other cool features higher on the to do list!
