Hey Gary,

Sure thing. I have a few things to take care of first, but I'll check it out some time tonight.

Hi Gary,

Overall you're doing a good job. A few things I noticed

1. http://www.clarksvilletennesseehomeinspector.com/what+is+a+home+inspection , you used spaced in the url which is where the + came from, you want to use hyphens.

2. http://www.clarksvilletennesseehomeinspector.com/node/50 change that to something like http://www.clarksvilletennesseehomeinspector.com/home-inspector-code-of-ethics.html (few other pages you need to update as well)

3. Your site slogan (change it under Site Information) is Inspected Once, Inspected Right. That won't help your SEO. It appears on the front page in the title bar (top of browser). Use something like Performing Home Inspections in Clarksville, Springfield,
Dover, Nashville,Ashland City, Dickson, and the surrounding areas. (keep it around 200 characters).

4. Looking at your home page, you don't mention the cities you inspect in anywhere. You want to get those cities sprinkled into every page.

This should get you started!

Dominic,

When you have a chance could you look at my site?  I thought I was doing everything necessary to get my SEO up to speed, but it does not appear that my site is getting crawled.

What more should I be doing?

Hey Julian,

There's a few things you need to do. First, get the words "home inspector" or "home inspection" in to the body of your text pages more.

Change your keywords from things like:
Home inspection, Santa Rosa, Windsor, Sebastopol, Rohnert Park, Petaluma, California
to
Santa Rosa Home inspection, , Windsor Home Inspector , Home Inspector in Sebastopol, Rohnert Park Home Inspection, Petaluma Home Inspector

On your home page you have a space in the page name between Santa Rosa, you need a hyphen.

You need the cities you inspect in on every page in the text body if possible, I'd see you put it in your footer which is good. Remember, Google has to have a reason to list your site for the phrases you're looking for. The more often you use the words, the better you area.

Start a photo gallery. List the city that each shot was taken in on the page url, title, description, etc.

Add a news feed from a local paper to get those cities in.

Change your signature here. Rather than have Halcyon Home Inspection, make it : Home Inspections in Santa Rosa,..,..,... Do that on active rain and any other site you're on.

Keep swapping links and have patience. It can take months to start getting ranks with more competitive terms. The more people linking to your site the better.
