Dominic,
I dont have anything on my blog page yet. Is this important for SEO, and if so what do you suggest I put there to get it started?

Hi David,

Yes, it's great for SEO as it's feeding your site with fresh content. I suggest looking at your news feeds. There is a little b next to each one. You can click that and then post a blog about the article. It works nicely. Or start blogging about interesting defects you find in homes, etc. Get city names and other SEO keywords in the articles Cheesy

My mistake. I thought the b always appeared. I just looked at a few sites and it looks like it only appears when you have the news feeds in a side block like Rick Maday has done at http://www.OwlHomeInspections.com . I'll check into it and see if I can figure a way to add it to the normal news feeds as well. For now you can just copy a link to the article or a summary of it into the beginning of your blog and comment on it.

Dominic - two questions:
1.  On my blog section - I have five blogs but it they are indexed as 1-5 - is there any way to have titles somewhere so people don't have to click on each one to see what it is about?  It would be nice to have them simply click on the title they want to read.
2.  Under "Links" - Is there a way to put another title there below Other Links that says something like, "Local Contacts or Vendors?"
Thanks, as always.

1. Yes, add each blog as a sub menu item under your blog menu item. I did the first two for you so you can see what I mean.

2.  Click on Link Categories in your Admin menu then click on Add Term. If you don't see this let me know, I might have missed some of the older sites.

Jayster,
we had some blog here this morning, (it rained last night) but it cleared out by mid-morning. We really needed the rain, so a little blog now and then is a small price to pay.
