Hey Greg - I am up at this time almost every day (ask Dominic) but you, my man, should be in bed!! Your device looks like it has a lot of features. You want to make sure that whatever you buy has the where with all to last a long time. I have the RAZ-IR, but don't know what they go for now. It is a great device but comes with software. I am not that computer able, but have mostly figured out the software. I can generate some great reports, but have not figured out how to email it all yet. If my son comes for a visit I can probably get him to show me how... to date that has not been important. You should check it out in addition to your Extech. Good luck!

Thanks Jay I will. I saw your camera online--expensive, but I guess expense is relative to income. I see a niche here in my area for this though, so it's on my wish list. Yup, betime. I just hit the shower and came back for a drink of water and saw your post. I spend a good bit of time learning how to better market myself here in my area--so not every evening do I chat with Dominic very late--he's hard core!

I think that "expensive" usually translates to "good quality."
When I bought the camera, I think it was $12K. I borrowed money from myself to buy it. I could see the future in it, and thought it was important to have, and took a risk buying it. We had some serious expenses at that time and the decision was tentative, but made. It paid for itself quickly... Of course, I had to immerse myself in how to use it (I don't remember classes then) and my computer obtusity made the program difficult for me - but I have made it work. A wee hint of marketing went into promoting it around here too...

Jay gets up around 5am your time, some times earlier. I think he's adjusting his schedule so he can wake up early and talk to me before I hit the sack

I am usually up around 3, but not for, um... yeah, that's it, sure, uh, to have fun with Cousin Dominic! And maybe a hundred other things to do before I leave to attempt, very seldom successfully, to beat traffic...
