Dominic, Some time back you said that metatags and urls on links improve SEO. Would you say that by filling these in when we do links it improves our ratings on a scale from 1-10, how much? Also on July 7th I asked you to look at my site, (because when I searched on "Google" for "home inspection Denver" I went back to page 30 and never did come up). You suggested to add "home inspector" and "Denver" on the home page. We did that and also put them on other pages. My one question to you was "was Google" not seeing me because my company name is"Denvers Best Home Inspection" because of "Denvers", (no apostrophe). I added the apostrophe. I think it did wonders. So guys, look at things like that. I went from not being found at all to PAGE 2!Thats a heck of a big improvement!  Denver is a big town! |

Hmmm I'm still not finding mine!!! My site is www.oklahomahomeinspection.biz and I've searched Google using 'oklahomahomeinspector' and it will find me half way down the page. Any other version like 'oklahoma home inspector' wont find me at all. And if I try ANY search on ANY other search engine, I don't come up at all. I search mine every few days to see if it has updated my descriptive info that come up with my link. Same ol Same ol... |

John, like Dominic told me many months ago, "hang in there" Make sure the areas you are farming is mentioned on every page of your site, but scramble them up so they are not being repeated. I think Dominic says "Google" sees that and does not like it. I think links help a great deal, so keep doing that. Go to NACHI's message board and get links there, although seems there are better co-ops here at Dominic's message board. If you do things like radon testing or whatever mention that where you can, I do radon test and google finds me through that too. Hang in there! Contact appraisers, small shop realtors, independent mortgage brokers and other real estate related companies to link with. Link, Link, Link! I thought it was a lost cause a few months ago, Just keep at it! It will come up. |

I keep going over my site every day to see if there is something I can do better. The one thing I've been thinking of doin is breaking all the links down under the appropriate state. Ive seen that done on a few sites, and like the idea. I also made sure that there are PLENTY of ways to contact me or me contact the client on every page. As far as Radon testing is concerned, I'd like to do stuff like that, but I have to wait until I get all the NACHI requirements done and get some money coming in!!!  And I've been planning on hittin some more real estate offices this week, but its been raining all week here, so I've been working on my NACHI stuff. |

Like Dave said, it can take from a month to 6 months before Google will list you. Ususally they have a 6 month sandbox, but most of the guys here have been listed in a month or two. Your site is just over a month old. The fact that you come up when you type in the word combined means Google has already indexed your site, which is good. Just keep working on the links to your site and keep your eyes open |
