They're coming in slow but sure... Smiley

I sent out emails and contact forms tonight to those I could.

There are a couple of sites that have absolutely no method or means to be contacted electronically from their sites... huge mistake in my opinion. What good is the web site if your clients can't contact you while they are browsing?

Get your emails and phone numbers posted prominently on your sites if you want them to get in touch with you!  Smiley

Yeh Bill, I've seen that frequently. Pretty wierd, sometimes if they have a "schedule an inspection" I'll go in through that, but is a pain cuz you have to fill out the whole thing most of the time.  Now that you mention that I may put my email and phone number on every page of my website.

You don't really need to put your contact info on every page, just make links that take them to one page that has all the info.  I put 'contact me' within the verbage on my main page and linked it to my contact page.  If you don't want to change that page at all, put you contact info under about you then make links to that page.  Or if you really like the idea of putting it on all pages go for it. I thought I would throw out some alternatives for ya to ponder about.

Good Ideas John, Nice looking site by the way. Not too much junk like some I've seen. In my opinion, too much stuff is distracting.

You're right John... I believe making it present in one of the menu panels or header panel is better but at least have a link that says "contact me" or something.   "Schedule an Inspection" or "Request an Inspection"  buried in a list of menu items for your only contact means just doesn't work.  And some people may incorrectly believe that if they fill that form out it means that binds them to an inspection.  All they really want to do is ask you a few more questions.  They may go to the next guy that provides an easier method.
So keep your contact info prominent and/or very easy to find! Smiley

Hey thanks...  I just re-did it yesterday.  I wanted it to be a little brighter and more appealing.

Ya, I know when I go to a web site and I have to fill out ({[/"ANY"\]}) information about me, just to ask a question, I get turned off and go somewhere else.

I actually think it's a good idea to have your contact info in a block on the left or right side. Personally I think they should be able to see the number on every page.

Well, I service 13 counties and many, many cities.  I have thought about the cities thing a lot, but there are too many to isolate just a couple.  This is a metro-plex and one city just folds into another without noticing any boundaries.  I think just saying Servicing all of Northern Virginia carries it all.  You might add "and Metro Washington D.C."  Thanks for thinking of me...!   Jay
