I tried to start another template by using the blank default template.  Here are the steps I used:  I openned the default blank template and then I went to file>save tempalte as and typed in the name of the new template.  I then went and openned the new created template and immediately went to the edit template tab.  I the typed in a menu item under the main menu  and named it Bob Builder Ssytems.  I then went and saved the tempate with the save button in the editor.  The editor closed and I then went and reopenned the editor of the template by using the edit template button.  When the editor openned, my addition of the menu under the menu was not there.  My templates are not saving the information I am typing into them.  Is anyone else having issues with this?  Do you think that my whole program is corrupt??

Ok, first you don't need to open a template after you save it. That is like saving a word doc and opening it right afterwards, it's already open. This shouldn't cause any problems though.

I think you're missing a few steps, so I want to make sure this is what you did.

1. Open program.
2. Open Template, select Blank template
3. Click Edit Template
4. Click on Menus
5. Type into the Add Box: Bob Builder Systems
6. Click Add
7. Click Save.
8. At this point look up and see if you have a menu item called Bob Builder Systems (let me know if you do/don't).
9. Click Save Template and give it a new name, click Save.
10. Close the program.
11. Reopen program.
12. Click Open Template
13. Click name name of the template you just saved and click open
14. Do you see Bob Builder Systems at the top.

(the following is because Bob is using a mac, windows users work differently)
Also, are you running the program from a Folder on your desktop Called Home Inspector Pro. Within that folder you should see the Home Inspector Pro.app and Client Data, Client Reports, Data, lib folder. Or, are you running the program directly by clicking on the DMG that you downloaded from the website and running the program within that?
